Delmarva Christian Schools introduces groundbreaking leadership course
Delmarva Christian Schools recently announced the launch of a transformative leadership course for its students, the Aspire 78:72 Experience, led by the Rev. Dr. Drew M. Christian, Aspire Leadership instructor.
This full-year course is designed to empower students to become influential leaders with a strong foundation in biblical principles.
"An important aspect of Delmarva Christian Schools is the opportunity we have to grow leaders who are prepared to influence this culture for Christ. This year, we have partnered with the Aspire 78:72 Biblical Leadership Program by walking 13 of our upperclassmen through their leadership course,” said Matt Kwiatkowski, DCS head of school, “Doing so helps them discover their unique call into leadership and apply their learning as they lead others in the National Honor Society, student leadership council, athletic teams, praise and worship teams, and classroom settings."
Inspired by the leadership examples set by figures such as Abraham, Moses, Joshua and Jesus, the Aspire 78:72 Experience is rooted in the belief that God continues to raise up leaders today. The course derives its name from Psalm 78:72, which reads, "And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them." This verse captures the essence of the course, emphasizing the importance of shepherding with integrity and skillful leadership.
Delmarva Christian Schools offers a comprehensive Christian educational experience for students in grades 9-12 at the high school in Georgetown, while also providing excellent Christian educational services to young toddlers through eighth-graders in Milton.
