Legacy Academy to hold open house Oct. 17
Legacy Academy, the only classical Christian school in Sussex County, will hold an open house from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17. Prospective families with students in kindergarten through eighth grade can tour the school’s new campus in Georgetown, meet Legacy students and faculty, and learn more about the classical model of education.
“God is doing amazing things at Legacy right now,” said Head of School Karen Barbrow. “We’re entering our third year, in a new location, with expanded grades and increased enrollment. We want families looking for quality, distinctive Christian education to consider our school. We’re grounded and growing right here in southern Delaware.”
At the open house, prospective families will join Legacy students for their morning assembly. Then, parents will attend an information session and continental breakfast with administration while students shadow classes with their peers.
“Our open house is a great way to experience the truth, goodness and beauty of classical Christian education firsthand,” Barbrow said. “We’re confident you’ll see, hear and even feel the difference.”
