Millsboro woman dies following three-car crash near Harbeson
A Millsboro woman died Dec. 6 following a three-car crash near Harbeson.
The crash happened at 5:56 p.m. when a Ram Promaster driven by a Salisbury man, 29, was traveling westbound on Coolspring Road approaching the stop sign at Harbeson Road and passed the sign, police said. At the same time, a Nissan Sentra driven by a Millsboro man, 86, was traveling southbound on Harbeson Road approaching Coolspring Road when the front of the Ram hit the Nissan’s driver’s side.
Debris from the crash then hit a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a Lincoln man, 32, traveling northbound on Harbeson Road approaching Coolspring Road.
The Millsboro man and his passenger, Barbara Hageman, 79, of Millsboro, were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Hageman later died.
The Salisbury man suffered minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital. The Lincoln man was not injured.
