The Mission and Outreach Committee of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Lewes, has
launched its annual coat drive in a cooperative ministry with Heart and Soul.
Lewes residents are welcome to drop off unused coats for adults and children in
boxes provided in the parish hall at 211 Mulberry Street until Nov. 30. Donations
of gloves, scarves and mittens are also needed.
This ministry supports the needs of both the Community Research Center in
Rehoboth Beach and the Primeros Pasos Early Childhood Learning Center in
Georgetown.
“Cold weather is approaching,” said Michelle Norelli,” chair of the parish’s
committee. “Our response is to receive gently used coats for adults and children
that are no longer used so that others can stay warm.”
