2010 Boys Delmarva Rush squad wins Atlantic Cup

The 2010 Boys Delmarva Rush soccer team culminated its fall season by winning the Atlantic Cup in Virginia Beach, Va. The win came on the heels of a victory at the Cecil Fall Blast tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. To win the Atlantic Cup, the Delmarva Rush boys beat the Virginia Rush Azul 2008 boys 5-2 in the final, a team two age groups older. “Two tournaments played and two huge championship wins,” said coach Ian Blyth. “They will now take a well-deserved winter hiatus before returning to winter practice in January and planning for Spring EDP league play in early March.”
