November 18, 2024

Atracare in Lewes announced the addition of two primary care providers and a skilled mental health provider to its team.

Jeffrey Stevens, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He believes in providing quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Stevens earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a pre-med concentration from the University of Delaware and an accelerated bachelor of science degree in nursing from Radford University Carilion. He earned a master of science in nursing degree from Samford University and a master of science degree in nursing family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program.

Dallas Jackson, FNP, is a family care provider with a focus on preventative care and holistic patient management. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep dedication to health promotion and disease prevention. After completing an accelerated associate degree in nursing at Delaware Technical Community College, she worked as a registered nurse in Newport News, Va., and earned her bachelor's degree in nursing through Wilmington University. An advocate for holistic care and shared decision making, Jackson put her passion for preventative medicine into action by practicing as a primary care provider for 12 months before relocating to her Delaware roots to join the Atracare team.

Jessica Parcher, FNP, is a family care provider who strives to form connections with patients to understand their experiences and values, and the key factors that drive their health. For 10 years, she worked as an RN in acute inpatient care and home health settings. Each employment opportunity provided her with valuable insight into the many facets of healthcare, including the barriers of self-managing acute and chronic illnesses. When pursuing her doctor of nursing practice degree, Parcher took the opportunity to delve deeper into these barriers with a primary focus on social determinants of health. She has incorporated this knowledge into a holistic lens that expands her ability to partner with patients and provide guidance that leads to optimal wellness.

"We are thrilled to welcome Stevens, Jackson and Parcher to our team," said William Albanese, CEO of Atracare. "Their unique skills, diverse experiences and shared commitment to patient-centered care align perfectly with Atracare’s mission to improve the health and wellness of Sussex County. By expanding our primary care and mental health services, we’re ensuring that patients have access to the support and resources they need to thrive."
