Cape administrator reads and sings with Rehoboth students

Ned Gladfelter, Cape Henlopen School District supervisor of human resources, visits Tina Windsor’s fifth-grade class at Rehoboth Elementary School as a read-aloud guest.

Each Friday, Rehoboth Elementary School teacher Tina Windsor hosts a read-aloud guest for her fifth-grade class. Readers include parents, other teachers and community members.
Cape Supervisor of Human Resources Ned Gladfelter was happy to take some time away from the district office Jan. 6 to revisit his roots as a music teacher. He packed up his guitar and his copy of “This Land is Your Land” by folk singer-songwriter Woody Guthrie and headed south to Rehoboth Elementary.
The students were able to read the book aloud with Gladfelter, and together they sang the patriotic song complete with hand motions.
