Cape Henlopen School District to host hiring fair March 14

Cape Henlopen School District will host its third annual job fair, offering prospective candidates a chance to explore career opportunities in education, administration and support services.

The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, March 14, in the Cape Henlopen High School cafeteria.

The hiring event is designed to connect passionate individuals with rewarding careers in education, including positions for teachers, substitutes, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodial staff and other vital roles that keep the district running smoothly.

“We are looking for talented and dedicated individuals who are interested in joining our team and making a difference in the lives of our students,” said Ned Gladfelter, Cape supervisor of human resources. “This event is a great opportunity for job seekers, or even those considering a career change. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about our district and network with various department leaders.”

Attendees will be able to meet with school principals, department supervisors and human resource representatives; apply on the spot for select positions; and learn about the district’s benefits, professional development opportunities and career advancement pathways.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, cover letter and other relevant documents. Preregistration for the event is optional but encouraged in order to streamline the check-in process.
