Cape High JROTC cadets assist Rotary Club with removal of Flags for Heroes

Cape High JROTC cadets assisted the Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club respectfully remove the Flags for Heroes display on the school campus Nov. 15. SUBMITTED PHOTOS
The conclusion of Veterans Week activities, that culminated with local observances on Veterans Day itself, signaled the retirement of the Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club’s Flags for Heroes display on the Cape Henlopen High School campus.
The flags were installed Oct. 27 by members of the Rotary Club and the Cape Henlopen JROTC. Likewise, the flags were respectfully removed Nov. 15 and prepared for storage and reuse in the future.
With the assistance of the Cape High JROTC cadets, the Rotary Club was able to remove the flags in record time.
