DAR presents JROTC award and scholarship

The Col. David Hall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution JROTC Cadet Award and scholarship went to Annemarie Rodriguez. The presentation took place at the Cape Henlopen High School JROTC Awards Program May 15.
Annemarie was chosen by her instructors as a student cadet of outstanding ability and achievement in high school. The award requires the recipient to have demonstrated loyalty and patriotism, and earned a record of military and scholastic achievement in the JROTC program, being in the upper 25% of both JROTC and academic subjects. The cadet must exhibit qualities of dependability, adherence to military discipline and leadership.
