Delaware Football Club 2014 Boys South wins Cecil Fall Blast

The 16th annual Cecil Fall Blast, a one-day soccer tournament, took place Nov. 16, at the Chesland Soccer Complex in Elkton, Md.

Competing among talented teams, the Delaware Football Club 2014 Boys South squad of Lewes claimed victory in the Silver Division with an outstanding performance.  

The squad defeated Fairmount Soccer Association 2014 Boys Falcons Green 8-0 victory in the opening match. The boys then took down North Chesapeake Football Club 2014 Boys in a closely contested 2-1 win.  

In the final game, Delaware Football Club sealed the championship against Salisbury United SC 2014 Premier West Boys with another 2-1 victory.    

Delaware Football Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to promoting youth soccer across Delaware, serving communities in Hockessin, Newark, Wilmington, Middletown and the Delaware beaches.
