A girls trip to Europe with the Cape Gazette in tow

Some of the best trips are traveling with great friends. Cape Gazette reader Lorraine Anderson of Broadkill Beach spent 10 days in Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia with her dear friend, Nancy Yorken, of Arden Hills, Minn. The longtime friends both lived in Minnesota once and still keep in touch since Lorraine’s move to Delaware. The girls toured Lucerne, Switzerland, and Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna in Austria. The trip also included a visit to Ljubljana, the beautiful capital and largest city of Slovenia. The Alps and surrounding countryside were in their finest greenery; no snow to be found.  Very kind and hospitable folks greeted them everywhere they stopped.
