As co-chair of Jane Gruenbaum's campaign for Sussex County Council, I am thrilled by the overwhelming support Jane is receiving. It’s clear that our community has sorely needed a voice on council to represent their interests, not those of developers.
Democrats, Independents and Republicans all tell us they are angry about the uncontrolled development without concern for its impact on our community. It’s obvious council has not been doing its job to limit growth, provide adequate infrastructure, and plan for our future.
Jane has an extraordinary background, and the skills and passion to represent us. She is educated in the issues that face Sussex County Council District 3, and is willing and able to form coalitions to get things done for the safety and well-being of our community.
The unrestrained building and rise of mega-developments, the loss of 1,300 acres of trees per year in Sussex County, and the inability to pass an impact fee on new developments are just some of the reasons why we cannot continue on the same path – we need change. We need Jane Gruenebaum on Sussex County Council.
So, if you are like the hundreds of people we have met during this campaign who are fed up with traffic and overcrowding, tired of losing forest and wetlands, frustrated with the lack of services and infrastructure, please join us in supporting Jane Gruenebaum for Sussex County Council District 3.
