The fourth annual Lace Up for Ag Literacy 5K, sponsored by the Delaware Farm Bureau Foundation, attracted 49 runners Oct. 19 at Hopkins Farm Creamery near Lewes.
Mark Walchinsky, 45, was the overall winner in 18:21. The top female finisher was Holly Krantz, 41, in 25:30.
Male masters champion was Jim Chaney, 55, in 24:44. Tabitha Palkewicz, 48, won the female masters race in 26:53.
The top six runners in the field broke the 25-minute mark. Right on the heels of Walchinsky was Bryan Mack in 18:43, followed by Quade Cummings in 18:55, H Neufeld in 22:01, Jim Chaney in 24:44 and Richard Tikiob in 24:48.
