Even though the annual spring Lewes British Motorcar Show was canceled due to the COVID-19 state of emergency, several car owners still took a ride through the city May 2. The British Are Coming...Again show would have been the 25th annual event.
“Call it cabin fever or quarantine blues, but we just have to get the British wheels rolling after 25 years. It’s like a birthday we can’t celebrate or an anniversary we can’t forget,” said Mike Tyler, founder and organizer of the show. Cars drove along Cape Henlopen Drive, to Savannah Road and onto Second Street.
