A Lewes man faces a driving under the influence charge after police say he drove a Suburban into a Route 24 residence June 30.
The crash happened at 12:06 a.m. in the 20000 block of Route 24 when the man, 38, drove into the residence, police said. He was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, and charged with DUI, disregarding traffic control devices and failure to provide information at the collision scene.
