Millsboro student graduates from Ole Miss
Alec Barton of Millsboro graduated from the University of Mississippi in December 2022. Barton, who majored in general business, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Rehoboth man graduates from University of Mississippi
Garrett Catts of Rehoboth Beach graduated from the University of Mississippi in August 2022. A management major, Catts received a bachelor of business administration degree.
Rehoboth resident graduates from Bates College
Bates College announced Robby Haynos of Rehoboth Beach graduated after majoring in rhetoric, film and screen studies. The son of Robert A. Haynos and Tara M. Corvo, Haynos is a graduate of Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Md.
Lewes student graduates with honors from Miami U.
Tommy Daigler of Lewes recently graduated cum laude, university honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Daigler received a bachelor’s degree in education with a major in integrated science education, physics.

Rochester Institute of Technology announced Austin Ross of Lewes recently graduated with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.

Emerson College announced Kathryn Redefer from Rehoboth Beach graduated in May with a bachelor of science degree in journalism.
Millsboro student graduates from Lebanon Valley College
Rylee Shockley of Millsboro recently graduated from Lebanon Valley College. A Sussex Tech graduate, Shockley received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education.
Locals graduate from University of Maryland Global Campus
University of Maryland Global Campus announced local students among its graduates are Lisa Ann Sheehy of Millsboro and Alexis Cusick of Lewes. Sheehy received a bachelor of arts degree in humanities; Cusick received a bachelor of science degree in computer networks and cybersecurity.
Harbeson student graduates from Quinnipiac
Nicolas Vazquez of Harbeson received a bachelor of science degree in software engineering from Quinnipiac University during a commencement ceremony held in May.
Local students graduate from Flagler
Flagler College announced local graduates honored during its May 2022 commencement ceremony. Nicholas Vitella of Georgetown earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. Camryn Breasure of Milton received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.
Millsboro student graduates from Weber State University
Weber State University announced Jessica Krok of Millsboro graduated with a degree in communications. Krok was also honored for academic excellence, having maintained a GPA of at least 3.5.
Lewes students graduate from University of Alabama
The University of Alabama announced three students from Lewes were among its May 2022 graduates. Sydney Boright earned a bachelor of science degree in human environmental sciences and was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Domenico Santo earned a bachelor of science degree in human environmental sciences. Lauren Barczak received a bachelor of science degree in commerce and business administration.
Millsboro student earns degree, award from Alvernia
Tyzhir Morris of Millsboro graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Alvernia University in Reading, Pa. A graduate of Sussex Technical High School, Morris majored in early childhood PK-4 and special education PK-12. Morris also received the Student Scholar Athlete Award for maintaining high academic standing while upholding Alvernia's Athletics Vision Statement. The Alvernia Golden Wolves compete in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Morris also was named to the Alvernia dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester.
William & Mary names local graduate, dean's list honorees
The College of William & Mary announced Ankita Mohan of Rehoboth Beach recently graduated with a bachelor of arts degree and also was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester for earning at least a 3.6 quality point average. Also earning dean’s list honors were Caroline Donovan of Lewes and Max Moore of Rehoboth Beach.
Finn Davis graduates with honors from Delaware
Finn William Davis of Milton graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry with minors in business administration and medical diagnostics. He will continue his academic career at the University of Virginia in its PhD Chemical Biology program.

Kendra La Fave of Lewes recently graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in international affairs from James Madison University.

The University of Vermont announced Cape Region students who graduated during its May commencement ceremonies. Alex Miller of Milton earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology. Alexandra Downs of Lewes earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science.
