All-State Cross Country
Last Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of attending the annual All-State Cross Country banquet held in Wilmington. Senior Isabel Wharton of Sussex Tech and senior Molly Bliss of Milford grabbed second team, while senior Ali Coning of Cape and junior Bethany Killmon of Sussex Tech grabbed third team. Coach Lou Nicoletti of Tech drove the four hours in the rain, while I picked his brain about some of the great runners he coached at Delcastle, like Cutter Jones, Orlando Walker and Anthony Stewart, possibly the best threesome any team in Delaware has included on its roster.
