The effort and care that Tim and his team put into every detail is readily apparent, whether it’s designing a scenic course, selecting and creating great handmade awards, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere, or rallying volunteers. Each race is a testament to his commitment to fostering community spirit, promoting healthy living and supporting causes that truly matter.
The Seashore Striders’ races go beyond running. They bring people together, create cherished memories, and remind us of the power of teamwork and generosity. Tim and his team embody these values, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the community he has cultivated. While living in the Philly area, I thought they had a great running community, but this one is even better, thanks to Tim and his team.
Tim’s tireless efforts, his vision, and his kindness to all runners, regardless of age and abilities, are greatly appreciated. He probably receives more complaints than accolades, which is no reflection on him; it is today’s human condition, but Tim and his Seashore Striders make a real difference in our community. It does not go unnoticed by most runners and their families, the residents who come out to cheer us on and the numerous charitable organizations that benefit from his work.
