Shopping Cape rewards patrons who keep holiday spending local

The holiday shopping season is here and Cape Gazette’s Shopping Cape promotion is back.

Shopping Cape reminds consumers of the many benefits of shopping local while rewarding those who do so.

At participating Shopping Cape locations from Friday, Nov. 22, through Monday, Dec. 25, patrons should be on the lookout, because Cape Gazette elves will be heading out on the road to find local shoppers.

People who choose to shop local at participating Shopping Cape locations may find themselves with an extra $300 to spend, since the Cape Gazette elves will be giving away more than $1,400 in local gift cards.

This holiday shopping extravaganza spotlights local retail stores, service providers and restaurants coming together to encourage everyone to support the local economy and spend their dollars with independently owned businesses this season.
