Following open house opportunities at elementary and secondary campuses, Sussex Academy kicked off the school year with a welcoming party Aug. 28.
Students, staff and parents enjoyed outdoor games, treats from a variety of food trucks, and the opportunity to get to know each other a bit before classes begin.
