William Stephen Lhotsky, loving son, father

William Stephen Lhotsky, 69, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, in Dover. He was born Aug. 25, 1955, in Baltimore, Md., son of Jean Agnes (Peacock) Lhotsky and the late William F. Lhotsky.

He built a successful career in the printing industry, working first for The Daily Times and later for the Cape Gazette.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a fan of classic horror movies, “Seinfeld,” and “Saturday Night Live,” often sharing his sharp wit and great sense of humor with those around him. He loved listening to music, reading, and spending time at the beach, where he found serenity.

William was preceded in death by his father, William F. Lhotsky. He is survived by his cherished children, Nicholas S. Lhotsky and Lauren Lhotsky; his adored grandchildren, Blair and Nico Lhotsky; his loving mother, Jean Lhotsky; and his devoted brother, Gregg Lhotsky and his husband Barry Podgorsky.
