Easter sunrise service set April 21 in Rehoboth Beach
The most sacred day on the Christian Church calendar is Easter, signifying the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches will hold an Ecumenical Easter SonRise Service at 6 a.m., Sunday, April 21, at the Bandstand in Rehoboth Beach.
“The service is a collaborative worship led by a number of church leaders in the Rehoboth Beach and Lewes area,” said the Rev. Vicky Starnes, senior pastor at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth. “During the service, participants will experience scripture and song as they watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Special music will be provided by community singers and musicians. The service will also include American Sign Language interpretation courtesy of Epworth’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry.”
All are welcome to attend.
St. Edmond announces Easter services
St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach will hold its Good Friday service at 3 p.m., April 19. Holy Saturday and the blessing of food will be held at 10:15 a.m., April 20, and the Easter Vigil is at 8 p.m., April 20.
Easter Sunday masses are at 7:30, 9 and 10:30 a.m. in the church, at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at Rehoboth Elementary School, and at 7:30, 9 and 10:30 a.m., in the parish hall, Sunday, April 21.

Conley’s UMC sets Easter season services
Conley’s United Methodist Church will hold its Good Friday prayer time from 12 to 3 p.m., April 19, at Conley’s Chapel. Easter sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m., Sunday, April 21, at Bay City beach in Long Neck. Traditional Easter Sunday service will be at 10 a.m at Conley’s UMC. A service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 20, at Conley’s Chapel.

Westminster Presbyterian Church will be open for Good Friday devotions and prayers from 12 to 3 p.m., Friday, April 19. St. Jude The Apostle Church in Lewes will offer Easter services at the following times. An Easter vigil is set for 8:30 p.m., Saturday, April 20. Easter Sunday masses will be held at 7, 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. April 21 in the church. There will be 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. mass services in the parish life center.
Peninsula Community Church to host Easter service April 21
Peninsula Community Church will host an Easter service at 10 a.m., Sunday, April 21. The program will include a special drama by the children's ministry and the adult choir.
