The Lewes Chamber of Commerce’s Hospitality Ambassador program, in partnership with Lewes American Legion Unit 17 Auxiliary, held its inaugural orientation at the legion’s pavilion June 3.
Led by Auxiliary President Murt Foos and Volunteer Coordinator Nancy Bush, orientation training participants were Lewes Police Chief Thomas Spell, Lt. James Azato, Lewes Mayor Ted Becker, Lewes City Manager Ann Marie Townshend and Chamber Executive Director Betsy Reamer.
Other community service organizations have been contacted to serve including Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540, Lewes in Bloom and a local Corvette club.
