Johnson Orthodontics awards gift card to Lord Baltimore educator

Dr. Jonathan Johnson recently surprised another local teacher with a $200 gift card as part of his ongoing teacher appreciation contest.
This time, the lucky winner was Jennifer Polly, a third-grade teacher at Lord Baltimore Elementary in Ocean View. Polly was nominated by her student Asha Ziskay, and she plans to use her winnings to purchase new whiteboards, Expo markers and other classroom supplies.
The contest, which has been running consistently since 2017, is Johnson’s way of thanking teachers for routinely letting him “borrow” their students for orthodontic appointments.
The son of two elementary school teachers, Johnson is committed to supporting local schools and looks forward to surprising another teacher in the spring.
