The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware recently awarded $2,500 grants to two local nonprofit organizations serving Sussex County.
Recipients for 2024 are the Sussex Preservation Coalition and Community Resource Center in Rehoboth Beach.
Grants were made possible by the Roy Parks Memorial Social Justice Fund, which is administered by UUSD.
The Roy Parks Memorial Social Justice Fund of the UUSD supports initiatives that recognize and advance the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and promote justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
