The Wharf Rats boating club in the Angola by the Bay community near Lewes hosted a Pirates Day neighborhood event at its marina grove.
Guests enjoyed good grub, games, crafts, crabbing, costume contests and cornhole. A surprise pirate boat attack gave some guests a good water soaking.
Steve Borden, Wharf Rats commodore, said he was proud of the committee who worked many hours to bring the event to the community.
