Wine education event to benefit Paul Kares Sept. 16

The Room at Cedar Grove will welcome two sommeliers to discuss pairing local cuisine with international wines at 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, at  32882 Cedar Grove Road, near Lewes.

Eat Local, Drink Global benefits Paul Kares, a local nonprofit organization that supports aspiring musicians and culinary artists.

Guests will sample foods one might find in Delaware beach-area restaurants and learn how global wines can elevate the tasting experience.

Susan Lynham, a WSET-certified wine educator, and Kedra Simm, a WSET Level 2-certified sommelier, will lead the discussion.
