Two Sussex Tech students face charges after police say they got into a fight in a trade class Sept. 17.
A Georgetown boy, 16, and a Seaford boy, 16, got into an argument about 2 p.m. and one swung a sharp metal file at the other. The other student then threw a sharp metal file at the first student, hitting him in the face and causing injury, police said.
Both boys turned themselves in to Troop 4 Sept. 18. One was charged with felony second-degree assault, and the other with felony aggravated menacing. They were both arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on their own recognizance to a parent.
The Cape Gazette does not post the names of minors charged with crimes.
