Community helpers visit Sussex Consortium
Students meet firefighters, police officers, restaurateurs

Sussex Consortium students got the chance to meet local heroes at the annual Community Helpers Day Sept. 27.
Students visited with Delaware State Police Community Engagement, Delaware State Police K-9, Milton Police Department, Lewes Police Department, Lewes Fire Department, Sussex County EMS, sous chef Maggie Williamson of SoDel Concepts, Jason Wilson of Alley Oop Skim, Schell Brothers, Air Force Bomb Squad, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and Beebe Healthcare Community Mobile Health Clinic.
