Bayhealth Hosts Successful 10th Anniversary Fall Golf Tournament

October 7, 2024

The Bayhealth Foundation recently hosted its 10th annual Fall Golf Tournament, raising over $85,000 that will directly support the Bayhealth Cancer Institute Nurse Navigation Program.

Hosted at the new Southern Delaware Golf Club in Milford, the annual tournament demonstrated the ongoing commitment to supporting Bayhealth Cancer Institute and its patients.

“We are thrilled by the success of our 10th annual fall golf tournament,” shared Bayhealth Foundation President Lindsay A. Rhodenbaugh, DMin. “The Bayhealth Cancer Institute nurse navigators play a crucial role in the lives of cancer patients and their journeys, so it is an honor to continue a tradition that provides such a meaningful impact. The tournament brings together donors, sponsors, patients, Bayhealth team members, and our friends across the community who are united in supporting the mission of the Bayhealth Cancer Institute, and we’re grateful to every single one of them for their generous support.”

Through clinical expertise and personalized care, our talented Bayhealth Cancer Institute team offers hope for a healthier future for every cancer patient at Bayhealth Kent and Sussex campuses. For 20 years, Bayhealth’s team of nurse navigators have assisted patients through each step after a cancer diagnosis, aiding and supporting them in their journey to better health.

Bayhealth’s cancer program continues to expand to meet the growing needs of our community. The first two fellows started in the Hematology-Medical Oncology Fellowship Program this past July, becoming the first and only program in Delaware created to train the next generation of hematologist-oncologist physicians.
