Delaware State Police detectives are investigating after they say someone fired shots Nov. 14 in Greenwood.
Troopers responded about 11 a.m. to Webb Farm Road near Beach Highway for a report of shots fired. They learned a 44-year-old man was traveling southbound in a Toyota on Webb Farm Road approaching Beach Highway when a gray Dodge pick-up pulling a trailer entered his lane. Police said the driver honked at the Dodge, which pulled over on Webb Farm Road. An unknown male driver got out, police said, while the Toyota continued southbound onto Oak Road south of Beach Highway. Police said the driver of the Toyota heard multiple gunshots, but nothing was hit by gunfire, and no one was injured.
