Winter weather forces delays, cancellations

An upcoming winter storm is forcing cancellation of events, meetings and schools. To have a cancellation or delay listed here, email newsroom@capegazette.com.
• Cape Henlopen schools, including academic challenge, will be dismissing two hours early on Tuesday, Feb. 11, with no evening pre-K or afterschool activities.
• Sussex Academy will dismiss students one hour early tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 11. In addition, all after school activities will be canceled.
• Sussex Technical High School will be closing at 1pm on Tuesday, Feb. 11, with no afterschool activities.
• Sussex Preservation Coalition’s meeting, set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11 has been canceled.
