The Cape High DECA Club hosted its second annual Come on Down game show-style event Feb. 22 in the school’s auditorium.
The event attracted nearly 70 people, 30 of whom competed in several events, including Guess the Price, Number Scramble, Take Two, Plinko and other mini games and big-wheel games.
Rob Naden and Wiley Owens were the final two contestants in the event’s trivia showdown, where they each answered 10 trivia questions. Owens walked away the winner.
The event proceeds help to fund Cape’s participation in next year’s DECA state conferences and the International Career Development Conference.
DECA – Distributive Education Clubs of America – provides career and technical business experience to students through various business-related role-play scenarios and other competitive events.
