John James Connors, kind soul

John James Connors, 61, of Seaford, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Born Sept. 16, 1963, John graduated from Sussex Central High School and spent many fulfilling years working at Perdue and Mountaire. He also cherished his time managing the pizza shop at Baker’s Exxon in Rehoboth until 2012.

John was known for his sweet and kind soul. He would do anything to make someone laugh. 

His hobbies included watching professional wrestling, playing video games, going fishing, doing artwork, traveling to Walt Disney World when he could, and spending time with his friends and family. 

He was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, celebrating their two Super Bowl victories during his lifetime.

John is survived by his brothers, Chris, Robert III, Ron, Karl and David Connors; sister-in-law, Theresa Connors; and his beloved nephews and nieces, C.J., D.J., Kaitlynne, and Amanda Connors, Richard Martin, Melissa Sellers, Christina Sharff, and Samantha and Sara. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Connors Jr. and Laura Connors.

A memorial service for John will be announced at a future date.
