Cape High JROTC cadets presented Rep. Jeffrey Hilovsky, R-Long Neck, with the U.S. Army Public Service Commendation Award at a special ceremony at Legislative Hall May 3.
Cadets presented the award to Hilovsky in recognition of his 20 hours of annual voluntary service to the Cape High JROTC program since 2019. Hilovsky has presented the John Wooden 12 Lessons in Leadership to all sophomore JROTC classes to develop leadership skills, accountability and responsibility, and to further build a positive approach to education and job skills.
