Cape sophomore places first in career and tech ed poster contest

For Career and Technical Education Month in February, the Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education partnered with the Department of Labor and the Department of Education to host a student poster contest.

The purpose of the competition is to help promote how technical education plays an integral part in economic systems.

Cape Henlopen High School sophomore Sarai Vivar-Lucero earned first place in the contest with her inspiring design titled, “The Key to Success,” which will be featured throughout the month of February on the DACCTE social media pages. Sarai will also be recognized during an awards ceremony to be held this April.
