Comedy magic show set Oct. 21 at Rehoboth library

Rehoboth Beach Public Library will host professional magician comedian Mike Rose for a History of Mystery show at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21, at 226 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. 

Rose will demonstrate a variety of magician’s tools and techniques from the past, performing historical tricks and illusions before audience members’ very eyes. Many of the pieces of magic apparatus used in the performance are rare antiques from Rose’s personal collection. Attendees can observe as these arcane devices fool the contemporary eye, giving a glimpse into the wonder and astonishment felt by audiences from centuries past.
