On Saturday, July 20, the Cape Henlopen School District hosted its annual Summer Book Party July 20 in partnership with Sunshine Circle Club; Lewes, Milton and Rehoboth Beach libraries; Delaware Readiness Team; Read Aloud Delaware; Sylvan Learning Center of Lewes; and the Harry K. Foundation.
Adults enjoyed Dunkin’ coffee and donuts, and children were offered donuts, water and juice. Raffle prizes were awarded every 30 minutes, and blankets were provided so children could sit in the grass and read their new books.
