Delmarva Christian students share J-Term experiences
Delmarva Christian High School students recently participated in their annual January Term activities.
Each year, J-Term provides students with opportunities for spiritual, academic and physical growth, fostering new connections and deepening relationships with teachers in unique learning environments, both locally and globally.
To celebrate their experiences, students shared reflections with family and friends, offering insights into their journeys through presentations and discussions during two special chapel services.
“J-Term is an integral part of Delmarva Christian’s program of study,” said Matt Kwiatkowski, head of schools. “Students engage in opportunities that lead them to a greater understanding of who God is and how he has uniquely designed them, ultimately stepping closer to embracing his calling on their lives.”
This year, student travel destinations included Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Atlanta, where they attended the Passion Conference. Locally, students engaged in a dynamic mix of hands-on learning, faith-based discussions and real-world experiences, ranging from cooking for service and competitive athletics to filmmaking, career prep, robotics and creative arts.
