CAMP Rehoboth’s Fest Art 2025 will open at 9 a.m., Friday, April 10, with an artists’ reception set for 3 to 5 p.m., at 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
Held in conjunction with CAMP Rehoboth’s Women’s Fest, the dynamic juried art exhibit honors the diversity of mediums and perspectives that embody and celebrate the feminine spirit. From bold paintings and intricate collages to striking photography and evocative ceramics, the selected works reflect the richness of artistic expression across the region.
This year’s juror is Lauren E. Peters, a distinguished visual artist whose work explores identity and gender through captivating self-portraiture. During the reception, she will offer insights and reflections on the selected works. Peters’ artistic journey began with a small exhibit in 2016, leading to her receiving a Delaware Division of the Arts Emerging Artist Fellowship in 2018 and an Established Fellowship for Visual Arts in Painting in 2023. Her work has been exhibited nationally, and she remains deeply engaged in Delaware’s arts community, continually pushing the boundaries of portraiture in contemporary art.
Peters selected 40 remarkable pieces from a record-breaking number of submissions this year. Mediums include oil and acrylic painting, photography, mixed media, collage, white-line woodcut, ceramics, watercolor and mosaics.
