The Gazette enjoys a little southern charm in South Carolina 

Denis Chandler and Sebastian Di Mauro have returned from a wonderful trip to South Carolina. One of the highlights was a visit to the Bonaventure Cemetery, famously featured in “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.” The tranquil stroll through the historic grounds was the perfect setting to catch up on the latest Cape Gazette news. Later that day, they enjoyed lunch in Savannah and made their way to Chippewa Square, immortalized in the movie “Forrest Gump.” It’s the spot where Forrest sat on a park bench, offering his mother’s sage advice and a chocolate to anyone who joined him: ‘Life is like a box of chocolates...’ Naturally, they couldn’t resist taking a seat on Forrest’s bench, finishing up the Cape Gazette because, as always, they never leave home without it.
