International trade center internship applications due Aug. 11

July 10, 2023

World Trade Center Delaware, the First State’s premier international trade organization, is accepting applications for its first paid internship program starting this fall.

Opportunities can range from six months to a year.

Roles available include graphic design, administration and research. For more information and to apply, go to wtcde.com/internships.html or send a cover letter and resume to info@wtcde.com by Friday, Aug. 11.

Recent graduates or current students from Delaware schools — the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Delaware Technical Community College, Wilmington University, Goldey-Beacom College, or Delaware Law School — are eligible to apply.

“Students can get a head start on their careers, learning from mentoring, work experience, networking opportunities, travel, conferences and much more,” said Carla Stone, World Trade Center Delaware president. “We’re very pleased to offer paid internships, because unpaid internships reduce opportunities for students who can’t afford to work for free.”

The internships are supported by the World Trade Center Delaware gala, set for Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Deerfield Golf Club, and through a partnership with Mutombo Coffee.
