Johnson Orthodontics awards scholarships to local seniors

Dr. Jonathan Johnson recently presented two $500 college scholarships from Johnson Orthodontics to Anna Nauman of Cape Henlopen High School and Eve Mundok of Sussex Academy.

The Extraordinary Smiles Scholarship was established in 2018 to recognize outstanding students in the community and help them offset the cost of higher education.

As in previous years, both of this year’s recipients have consistently achieved excellent grades while still finding time to participate in extracurricular activities and work part-time jobs.

What set their applications apart from the others was that both girls were described by their teachers as caring and thoughtful, with the ability to always see the good in others.

Anna will be attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington to study elementary and special education with the hopes of one day becoming an art teacher.

Eve will be attending the University of Tampa, where she will major in applied health.

The entire team at Johnson Orthodontics is extremely proud of both Anna and Eve and wishes them much success and many, many smiles.
