Santa Claus is coming to Milton, and he’ll be welcoming visitors to his house at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, on the grounds of the Milton Historical Society at the corner of Union and Magnolia streets.
The newly established Milton Main Street organization will make its presence known by welcoming Santa Claus and his guests. Shed Crazy owners Steve Fender and Jennifer Sharp have kindly supplied the structure where Santa will set up housekeeping in downtown Milton this year.
Adults and family members will be welcome to snap photos to commemorate the occasion.
Santa will continue to greet visitors and hear children’s Christmas wishes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, in conjunction with the Milton Holly Festival. Visiting hours are also set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14.
Children can enter their names in a raffle to win tickets to see “Annie” at the Milton Theatre. Youngsters will be encouraged to participate in the inaugural Penguin Holiday Hunt at more than a dozen local businesses in downtown Milton.
