Lewes Elementary Color Run set at Cape High May 7

Lewes Elementary School PTO announced the Madison Handley Color Run is set for 3 p.m., Sunday, May 7, at Cape Henlopen High School. T-shirt pickup begins at 2 p.m.

All proceeds generated will benefit the Handleys, a local family battling pediatric cancer.

The 2-mile walk/run is open to the public and appropriate for all ages. As in traditional color runs, colorful cornstarch powder will envelop runners at different stations throughout the course.

Participants can expect a festive, exciting environment and plan to get messy.
