Margaret Ann Lowe, retired poultry grower
Margaret Ann Lowe, 84, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, with her family by her side.
She was born in Laurel Nov. 28, 1939, daughter of the late Edward Fisher and the late Elizabeth (Toomey) Fisher. Margaret was a retired poultry grower. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, doing word searches, and playing cards. Margaret always looked forward to having her family over for Sunday dinners.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Lowe; a son, Tommy Lowe; three brothers, Edward Fisher, Henry Fisher and Tommy Littleton; and four sisters, Mary Robinson, Helen Wheatley, Lillian Clendaniel and Elva Murphy.
Margaret is survived by her children, Norman Banks, Patricia Brittingham (John Young), Gail Dorman (Charlie), Kathy Lowe and Tammy Thompson (Joe); grandchildren, Jennifer Brittingham (David Arvey), Amanda Collins, Brittany Dorman, Casey Jones (Dylan) and Shaiann McNair; great-grandsons, David Arvey III and Dylan Arvey; great-great-grandchild, Brynlee Arvey; a brother, Joe Littleton; and a sister-in-law, Doris Simpler.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 8, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends and family may gather after 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Millsboro Cemetery, Millsboro.
