Mariner student artwork on display at Biggs Museum thru May 4

Mariner Middle School artists embarked on their first collaboration with the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. As part of the museum’s Adopt-an-Artwork program, work by 10 of Mariner’s eighth-grade ceramic art students is displayed alongside the adopted artwork from Puerto-Rican American artist and Philadelphia local, Roberto Lugo.
The show includes work by Mariner students Jacqueline Soto-Escalante, Mohamed Ahmad, Bree Terhune, Brison Ney, Carter Lecates, Kristopher Ramos-Morales, Jamarr Thomas, Kylie Payton, Aaron Jimenez and Rihanna Polk-Johnson.
The exhibit continues through Sunday, May 4, at 406 Federal St., Dover.
