Mispillion Art League Perfect Gift exhibit continues thru holidays

The Perfect Gift exhibit, a diverse collection of artisan-made works contributed by Mispillion Art League members, will be on display through the end of the year at the MAL gift shop, 5 N. Walnut St., Milford.

Mediums include photography, oil and acrylic painting, collage, pastel, mixed media and several types of sculpture. Patrons will find coastal scenery, botanicals and wildlife, contemporary abstractions, traditional still lifes and more. Visitors can select gorgeous ceramics ranging from dishes and bowls to sculptural display platters. A hand-painted silk scarf or multicolor cutting board might check something off Santa’s list. A variety of jewelry will be on display from local makers. 

Small gift item ideas include a wheel-thrown mug, carved-wood pen or stained-glass hanging ornaments. For those tricky people who already have everything, one of the many miniature paintings in the MAL gift shop may be just the right surprise.
