Phones, internet down at several Cape school district buildings

The landline phones and internet are currently down at several Cape Henlopen School District buildings, including the Fred Thomas Building, the district office, Cape High, Frederick D. Thomas Middle and Lewes Elementary, according to a Facebook post from the district this morning.

District officials said they’re working with the internet provider to get the issue resolved but are unsure when everything will be back up and working. Officials said they will provide an update as soon as they can.

Parents and guardians of children at Fred Thomas Middle, Lewes Elementary or Cape High are instructed to check their email for appropriate contact information should they need to reach their child’s school.
